Welcome to my website.

I created this spot to share what I’ve learned and what I continue to learn about health & wellness. My understanding is shaped by my formal education in naturopathy, my love of movement, what I am reading, seeing or with whom I am talking.

Why more than food? Two reasons:

Food is a good place to start when you want to improve your health. It’s part of our everyday existence, not only do our food choices impact our health but so do the habits and rituals that we have around food. What we eat is indicative of our culture. How and why we eat is indicative of how we live our lives.

I believe true nourishment extends well beyond food. The feeling of satisfaction we get from a good meal can extend to a similar feeling we get when we feel connected to the world around us, through relationships, nature, work, movement, meditation etc. That sort of feeling you have when you are engaged in a fufilling moment.
